The High Andes Are in Our Blood
Growing up in the high alpine valleys surrounding sacred Mount Ausangate (6,384m / 20,945 ft), our families have traversed these mountain passes, herd alpacas, and honored the sacred Apus for generations. In 2006, we founded Ausangate Treks Peru to share this sacred mountain circuit directly with travelers worldwide, without intermediaries.
Today, we lead intimate expeditions through turquoise glacial lakes, across soaring 5,200m mountain passes, and to the surreal mineral ridges of Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). We combine native Quechua cultural hospitality with premium geodesic sky lodge domes, rigorous mountain safety, and gourmet Andean cuisine prepared fresh at high altitude.
